Terms & Conditions
Last updated: February 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of CreditTrack (the “Service”), a credit utilization and payment planning application provided by The Financial Playbook (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. You must be of legal age to enter a contract, and if you use the Service on behalf of an organization you confirm you have authority to bind it.
The Service
CreditTrack helps you record credit card limits, balances, statement closing dates, and due dates, and produces utilization figures, payment plans, reminders, and educational content from the information you enter. CreditTrack does not move money, does not connect to your bank or card issuer, and does not access your credit report. All payments to your card issuer are made by you, in your issuer's app or website.
Not financial advice
The Service provides general educational information and calculations based on data you supply. It is not financial, credit, legal, or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to take any specific action. Credit scoring models vary and we cannot guarantee any change in your credit score. Decisions you make are your own responsibility.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Never enter full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank passwords into the Service — we do not ask for them and do not need them.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or circumventing technical limits;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
Licence and intellectual property
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected. We retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, content, and branding. You retain ownership of the data you enter, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service.
Memberships, payment, and billing
Access to the full application requires an active membership, billed monthly or annually in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, together with our refund policy.
Service level and warranties
We aim to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, missed payments, interest, fees, or credit score impacts. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow exclusion.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service, the content you submit, or your breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time from Settings. When access ends, you may export or delete your data; data remaining after account deletion is removed in line with our privacy notice.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date means you accept them.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, and disputes will be heard by the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Neither party may assign these terms without consent, except that we may assign in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
